Question: headlamp motor adjustments

when i turn on the lights the drivers side dont want to lock in the up position

You probably have crumbled plastic bushings in the headlamp motor that is preventing your headlight to remain in the fully open or fully shut position. This is an inexpensive fix ( Parts about $10) if you want to do the work yourself. It is a delicate and tedious job. The other problem would be a cracked gaer in the headlight motor. It usually allows the light to reach a certain position, but usually locks it at that position. The gear part is about $30. There are instructions and photos to repair these parts. I can e-mail them to you if you wish
